FIG. 3. — Mounted specimen of a two-horned Sumatran rhinoceros (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis (Fischer, 1814)), photographed in the stores of the Musée zoologique in Strasbourg (no. Mam-01505) by Marie Meister in July 2018. It was said to be connected with Alfred Duvaucel when it was transferred from Paris in 1829, but as this species of rhinoceros is unknown in the vicinity, it is unlikely to be the animal that was responsible for Duvaucel's injury in the Rajmahall Hills of Bihar, India.
