The three major horse areas are KSR (key summer range, i.e. upper elevations), Adobe Valley and Basalt (both historical winter range, lower elevations). Dotted lines within and outside the territory boundary represent additional horse use associated with the three main use areas. Hatched pink areas are grazing allotments (AV = Adobe Valley, BL = Black Lake, BS = Basalt). Closed squares are permanent springs. Open circles are seasonal springs.
