2014-2015 Digital Preservation Community Survey

<p>The OPF (Open Preservation Foundation) conducted the 2014/2015 community survey between October 2014 and January 2015 and the results provide a detailed picture of the digital preservation landscape at that time.&nbsp;</p> <p>This data set contains:</p> <ul> <li>the OPF result report of the survey</li> <li>the raw data</li> <li>the survey guidance notes as supplied alongside the questionnaire</li> <li>a poster presenting a glimpse at the results</li> </ul> <p>All results are also available at: https://openpreservation.org/resources/surveys/</p> <p><strong>About the Survey: </strong></p> <p>The digital preservation community survey in December 2014 - January 2015. The goal of the survey was to assess the current state-of-the-art in digital preservation and identify adoption of digital preservation tools and approaches. It followed on from the OPF&nbsp; member survey carried out in October 2014 to build an evidence base about OPF members, and steer the annual plan. Selected information from the members responses have also been included in the results.</p> <p><strong>About the OPF:</strong></p> <p>The OPF (Open Preservation Foundation) is a global, not-for-profit membership organisation. It leads a collaborative effort to create, maintain and develop the reference set of sustainable, open source digital preservation tools and supporting resources.</p>
