<p>This is a small, non-representative selection of social media posts that appeared on WeChat and Weibo during the summer of 2015, circulating rumors of child abductions and organ harvesting in various Tibetan communities in the People’s Republic of China. Faces have been obscured to protect the identities of people in the images. </p>
