An open dataset of scholarly publications highlighted by journal editors

<p><strong>Abstract: </strong></p> <p>We present a dataset of scholarly publications featured as outstanding by journal editors.<br> This first version, which covers the last 10 years, includes papers referenced in (a) Breakthroughs of the year by Science Magazine (b) Les 10 d&eacute;couvertes de l&#39;ann&eacute;e by La Recherche Magazine (c) research highlights by Nature journal and (c) Editors&#39; choice by Science magazine.</p> <p>The rationale and process of its creation are described in details in the&nbsp; following pre-print:</p> <p>Mugabushaka, A.M. , Sadat, J and Dantas Faria, J.C.
