Dataset on survey of perspectives on afforestation and reforestation strategies in Central Europe under climate change

<p>The dataset presents responses collected through&nbsp;structured questionnaires from the six central European countries: Austria (AT), Germany (DE), Czechia (CZ), Hungary (HU), Poland (PL), and Slovakia (SK). &nbsp;The questionnaires&nbsp; were designed, one for each of the three groups of respondents namely forest managers (FM), conservation managers (CM), and nursery managers (NM). This online&nbsp;survey was conducted for four months&nbsp; from May 2017-August 2017Forest Managers as those working for the preservation and protection of forests and woodlands. They are responsible for the management of areas used for timber production, public recreation, and natural preservation. The Conservation Managers are considered as those managing the national parks and protected areas. Here, nursery managers are those who manage forest nurseries.&nbsp;</p> <p>The dataset is presented in a spreadsheet with questions and the responses of each group.</p>
