TORS for a T2 hypopharyngeal cancer

The video shows the procedure of using Trans-Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) via da-Vinci robot Si-system to resect a T2 hypopharyngeal cancer located at the medial wall of right side pyriform sinus on June 25, 2024. Under general anesthesia with oro-endotracheal intubation, right side pyriform sinus was exposed by Laryngeal Advanced Retractor System (LARS). With a panoramic view, the tumor could be en-bloc resected by using endo-wristed instruments (Maryland dissector at the left hand side and Mono-polar cautery at the right hand side). The superior laryngeal vessels encountered during tumor dissection could be endo-clipped by table side surgical assistant.
