Townsend Ware Pot Sherd

A Late Woodland pot sherd, possibly Townsend ware (A.D. 950 to 1600), recovered during the 1943 archaeological excavation of precontact period sites along the Susquehanna River in Cecil County, Maryland. It is part of an assemblage curated at the Natural History Society of Maryland which has given permission for the model to be downloadable for non-commercial educational purposes.
