Archaeopteryx fossil cast

Surface scan of an Archaeopteryx fossil cast from the D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum at the University of Dundee Museum Collections. DUNUC 2704 - Archaeopteryx siemensii - Fossil cast taken from the Berlin specimen, discovered in 1874-5 and now in the Humboldt Museum. Cast=59x49cm. Scanned with an Artec Spider surface scanner. The resulting file is exported as an obj. and imported into Zbrush. The texture is captured during the scanning process and converted to Polypaint in Zbrush.
