JFRC2 Template Brain

This single female brain was generated by Arnim Jenett (Janelia Farm Research Campus) and is stained with the neuropil marker nc82. If you make use of this data, please cite:

A GAL4-Driver Line Resource for Drosophila Neurobiology
Arnim Jenett, Gerald M. It was then upsampled in Z to give isotropic voxels. When received from Janelia Farm the image had no spatial calibration and was in tif format. The image was opened in Fiji/ImageJ and the voxel size set to 0.622088 microns × 0.622088 microns × 0.622088 microns, based on a personal communication from Arnim Jenett and inspection of the image data associated with http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.celrep.2012.09.011 that is available at http://flweb.janelia.org/cgi-bin/flew.cgi. The image was then saved in gzip encoded nrrd format using the ImageJ Nrrd_Writer plugin.
