Scores on the first two discriminant functions have been plotted to illustrate the separation of Dendrelaphis kopsteini sp. nov., Dendrelaphis formosus and Dendrelaphis cyanochloris in multivariate space. The three species clearly constitute morphologically distinct clusters.
