Their known distribution in faunal regions and subregions is given to the right. The longistylus group (Matile 1971, Kjaerandsen 1994) is known only from the Afrotropical Region. Four Afrotropical species described on single female holotypes cannot be placed with certainty but may belong to the longistylus group.
