He died in Dihl&icirc; A.H. 1169, 1st of Rajab (A.D. 1756, April 1); see on his life Rieu, loc. cit. and iii. p. 1086</span><sup><span>a</span></sup><span>; Khul&acirc;</span><span>ṣat-alafk&acirc;r, No. 301 (Bodleian Cat., col. 312), and Makhzan-alghar&acirc;</span><span><span>&rsquo;</span></span><span>ib, No. 3018 (ib., col. 393).
