Restoration of vegetation and soil in the Horqin Sandy Land, Northern China

<p>These data aimed to clarify the response of vegetation and soil properties to different restoration measures and dune topography, and to quantify dynamics over time. Vegetation and soil characteristics were evaluated at different topographic positions on dunes in the Horqin Sandy Land, with 5-, 25- and 35-year monitoring periods for grazing exclusion and tree planting, and 5- and 25-year monitoring periods for shrub planting.</p>
