Support values (posterior probabilities) are shown at each node. All trees strongly support the placement of the new species in a clade with Eucometis penicillata and Trichothraupis melanops. However, the trees disagree on the relationships of these taxa relative to each other, and none of the trees show strong support for relationships among these three taxa, emphasizing the distinctness of these three species relative to each other.
