Twenty-one lines in a page.</p> <p>كتاب التحفة الجامعة لمفردات الطب النافعة تاليف الشيخ الامام العالم العلامة يحيى ابن بكر (العامری <sup>1</sup> ) العلوى تغمده الله برحمته آمين.</p> <p>A medical guide, ascribed to YAḤYA B. BAKR ‘ALAWÎ.</p> <p>It consists of two parts, which treat of special and of general complaints (قسم فی العلل الخاصة و الآخر فی العامة), and are preceded by an introduction.</p> <p>Neither the above title nor the name of the author occurs in the work. The latter calls himself a pupil of Jamâl al-dîn الكمراني .</p> <p>Begins: الحمد لله خالق الاجسام و ما يعرض لها من الالم و الضرر .... و بعد فان علم الطب ضرورى يشهد لصحته و شرفه النقل .</p> <p>Plainly written by two hands. Dated 21st Shawwâl, 1058.</p> <p>On the last few pages (from fol. 44<em>v</em>.) are various extracts, remedies, prayers, etc.</p> <p> </p> <p><sup>1</sup> Added on the margin.</p> <p> </p>
