Size 10^3/4in. by 6^1/2in.; foll. 179. Sixteen lines in a page.</p> <p>Some portions of the first or theoretic part of &lsquo;Al&acirc; al-d&icirc;n &lsquo;AL&Icirc; B. AL-ABB&Acirc;S MAJ&Ucirc;S&Icirc;&rsquo;S (d. A.H. 384) System of Medicine, entitled كامل الصناعة . It is also often called الملكى , the &lsquo;&rsquo;royal&rsquo;&rsquo; book, from its dedication to &lsquo;Aḍud al-daulah, the B&ucirc;yide. See Ḥ. Kh. v. 25; Cat. Lugd. iii. 236; Cat. Mus. Latin translations of the work were printed at Venice, 1492, and at Leyden, 1523.</p> <p>This MS. comprises the fifth, sixth, seventh, and tenth books (مقالة) , all separate , and bound in the following order : (fol.1) المقالة السابعة من الجزء الاول فى الاستدلال النبض ( بالنبض . r ) و البول و البراز و النفث و العرق ¹ ; (fol. 48) المقالة العاشرة من الجزء الاول فى صفة علامات المُنذرة ¹ ; (fol. 94) المقالة الخامسة من الجزء الاول فى الامور التى ليست بطبيعية ; (fol. 136) المقالة السادسة من الجزء الاول فى صفة الامور الخارجة عن الامر الطبيعى .</p> <p>Plainly written.
