<p>A three-dimensional animation of a root section from cultivar ‘Kompolti’ revealing the aerenchyma 9 d post-waterlogging. Aerenchyma are shown in blue and the whole root section in white. The images were obtained by X-ray Computed Tomography scanning of the root section. The resolution was 11 µm, and the animation was created using the program Volume Graphics Studio Max® 3.01.</p>
