Relative to body size, the CNS of the adult is relatively small. The prosoma of the adult is packed with midgut digestive diverticulae (highlighted in orange) above, below, and in front of the CNS. In the adult female, these supplement the diverticulae of the opisoma, as developing ova occupy an increasing portion of the opisomal volume.
