Confocal data of Vetuprostomis spp.

<p>This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for holotypes of&nbsp;<em>Vetuprostomis angularis</em> (NIGP177984) and&nbsp;<em>Vetuprostomis gaoi</em> (NIGP170326).&nbsp;This dataset is associated with the publication &quot;New species of <em>Vetuprostomis </em>from mid-Cretaceous amber of northern Myanmar (Coleoptera: Tenebrionoidea: Prostomidae)&quot; (DOI:10.11646/zootaxa.5125.5.6).</p> <p>Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm (Argon; for V. <em>angularis</em>) or 561 nm (DPSS 561-10; for <em>V. gaoi</em>) laser excitation lines. The original CZI files&nbsp;are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.</p>
