Confocal data of Anomocephalobus liuhaoi, holotype, NIGP177044

<p>This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices&nbsp;for the holotype of&nbsp;<em>Anomocephalobus liuhaoi</em>&nbsp;(NIGP177044) from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. Additional confocal data for&nbsp;<em>Erichia cretacea</em>&nbsp;(CNU-COL-BR2014808) are also&nbsp;provided.&nbsp;This dataset is associated with the publication &quot;<em>Anomocephalobus</em>, a new genus of minute marsh-loving beetles from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber (Coleoptera: Limnichidae)&quot; (DOI:10.1590/S1984-4689.v39.e21030).</p> <p>Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm Argon laser excitation line. The original CZI files&nbsp;are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.</p>
