Suppression of Spurious Mixing in FWM-based Systems through Mid-Span Pump Phase Shift

<p>We propose and demonstrate a new technique to suppress spurious idler generation during four-wave mixing, by applying a 𝜋𝜋 radian phase shift to the pumps at the mid-point of the processing medium.</p>
