FIGURES 2–5. Body scales of two rare Synura species Figures 2–3 (TEM): Synura obesa. Scales are almost circular, a broad median keel with a small foramen pore is seen. Arrows show ridges which end with a short and narrow keel tip. There are no pores on the keel tip. Figures 4 (TEM)– 5(SEM): S. petersenii f. taymyrensis. Scale bars: 1 μm.
