(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 2678 here with notations and hyperlinks]</strong>.</li> </ul> <p>676</p> <p>Tadhkira-i-Nadrat ( تذكرۀ ندرت ).</p> <p>A large fragment of a tadhkirah of ancient and modern Persian poets, compiled by &lsquo;&Acirc;l&icirc; Fiṭrat &lsquo;Aṭ&acirc;-all&acirc;h, with the takhalluṣ Nadrat, in the nineteenth year of Muḥammadsh&acirc;h&rsquo;s reign, A.H. 1149, 1150 (A.D. 1737), see fol. 32<sup>b</sup>, margin, ll. 11-12. It is divided into two چمن , seven گلشن , and one حديقه or خاتمه ; the former nine comprising the nine centuries of Persian poetry, from A.H. 200 to 1100 (A.D. 815-1689), the latter dealing with contemporary poets of the twelfth century. Of these ten subdivisions, only five are found in this copy, viz. <em>Ć</em><em>aman I:</em> Poets of the third century, from R&ucirc;dag&icirc; to &lsquo;Um&acirc;rah, on fol. 33<sup>a</sup>; <em>Ć</em><em>aman II:</em> Poets of the fourth century, from Am&icirc;r Aḳ&acirc;j&icirc; (or Agh&acirc;j&icirc;) to Ab&ucirc;-alfaraj Sijz&icirc;, on fol. 33<sup>b</sup>; <em>Gulshan I and II</em> (not separated here): Poets of the fifth and sixth centuries, from &lsquo;Unṣur&icirc; to Jam&acirc;l-ald&icirc;n &lsquo;Abd-alrazz&acirc;ḳ of Iṣfah&acirc;n, on fol. 34<sup>a</sup>, margin; <em>Gulshan III</em>: Poets of the seventh century, on fol. 61<sup>a</sup>, beginning with Kam&acirc;l-ald&icirc;n Isma&rsquo;&icirc;l خلاّق المعانى , and breaking off abruptly in the account of Jal&acirc;l-ald&icirc;n R&ucirc;m&icirc;.</p> <p>Beginning : ثناى فصاحت پيرا صانعى را سزاست كه دندان سين سخن الخ .</p> <p>Bibliotheca Leydeniana.</p> <p>No. 2678, ff. 32-71, ll. 17 in the centre, ll. 34 on the margin; Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; size, 11<sup>3/4</sup> in. by 7<sup>1/4</sup> in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
