(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 2725 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>708</p> <p>Ṣuwar-alaḳ&acirc;l&icirc;m ( صور الاقاليم ).</p> <p>A geographical compendium, styled both in the colophon and on fol.1<sup>a</sup> صور الاقاليم, and identical with that described by Rieu i. p. 420 sq. The compiler, whose name is note mentioned, was a servant of Am&icirc;r Mub&acirc;riz-alḥaḳḳ wa-aldunyah wa-ald&icirc;n Muḥammad (see fol. 2<sup>b</sup>, l. 6). The founder of the Mużaffar&icirc; dynasty (blinded by his son Sh&acirc;h Shuj&acirc;, A.H. 760=A.D. 1359).</p> <p>According to a passage in one of the British Museum copies this little book was composed A.H. 748 (A.D. 1347, 1348); comp. also M&eacute;langes Asiatiques, vols. iv. p. 54, vi. P. 574, and vii. p. 43.</p> <p>Beginning: الحمد لله ربّ العالمين ...... قال الله تبارك تعالى سنريهم آياتنا فى الآفاق و فى انفسهم حتّى يتبيّن لهم انّه الحقّ امّا بعد در تواريخ آمده كه چون سكندر بن فيلقوس الخ .</p> <p>It is divided into two b&acirc;bs:</p> <p>The <em>first</em>, subdivided into two faṣls, viz.:</p> <p>فصل اوّل در ذكر كرۀ زمين و مقدار و مساحت آن و معرفت طول و عرض بلدان و خواصّ مواضع (the terrestrial globe, its dimensions, etc.), on fol.3<sup>b</sup>.</p> <p>فصل دوم در ذكر آفاق جنوبى و خطّ استوا و ما يتعلّق و ينسب اليه ( the southern hemisphere, the equator, etc.), on fol. 12<sup>b</sup>.</p> <p>The <em>second</em> is subdivided into seven. faṣls, each dealing with one of the seven climates, on ff. 22<sup>b</sup>, 41<sup>a</sup>, 51<sup>a</sup>, 84<sup>a</sup>, 107<sup>a</sup>, 113<sup>a</sup>, and 117<sup>a</sup>.</p> <p>Dated the 12th of Ṣafar, A.H. 1220 (A.D. 1805, May 12).</p> <p>Bibliotheca.
