(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 3138 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>716</p> <p>Tuḥfat-al&rsquo;aj&acirc;&rsquo;ib ( تحفة العجائب ).</p> <p>An older but greatly abridged Persian translation or rather adaptation of the same second volume of Ḳazw&icirc;n&icirc;&rsquo;s cosmography , the آثار البلاد, called here سبعة الاقاليم , and composed by &lsquo;Al&icirc; Ṭ&acirc;hir&icirc; (Ṭ&acirc;&rsquo;ir&icirc; in Rieu iii. p. 1059<sup>a</sup>), A.H. 928 (A.D. 1522), see fol.2<sup>b</sup>, ll. 9-11; fol.3<sup>a</sup>, l. 9; and fol. 196<sup>b</sup>, l. 1 (in Rieu, loc. cit., A.H. 948).</p> <p>Beginning: حمد بيحدّ صانعى را كه عجائب و غرائب عالم آثار ارقام قدرت اوست و منتهاى بى منتها الخ.</p> <p>The <em>first</em> Iḳl&icirc;m begins on fol. 4<sup>a</sup>; the <em>second</em>, on dol. 32<sup>b</sup>; the <em>third</em>, on fol. 53<sup>a</sup>; the <em>fourth</em>, on fol. 94<sup>a</sup>; the <em>fifth</em>, on fol. 144<sup>b</sup>; the <em>sixth</em>, on fol. 172<sup>a</sup>; the seventh, on fol. 187<sup>a</sup>, last line.
