(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 176 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>719</p> <p>Akhb&acirc;r-i-ḥas&icirc;nah dar akhb&acirc;r-i-Mad&icirc;nah ( اخبار حسينه در اخبار مدينه ).</p> <p>History and topography of Mad&icirc;nah, a Persian translation of Samh&ucirc;d&icirc;&rsquo;s famous Arabic work خلاصة الوفا باخبار دار المصطفى , which extract from his larger work وفاء الوفى باخبار دار المصطفى was made by Samh&ucirc;d&icirc; (died A.H. 911= A.D. 1505, 1506) himself, A.H. 893 (A.D. 1488), comp. W&ucirc;stenfeld, Geschichte der Stadt Medina im Auszuge aus dem Arab. Des Samh&ucirc;d&icirc; in &lsquo;Abhandluugen der K&ouml;nigl. Gesellschaft der Wissen-schaften zu G&ouml;ttingen,&rsquo; vol. ix. histor.-philol. Classe, pp. 1-156; J.Aumer, Arab. Cat., p. 144; Ḥ. Khalfa ii. p. 144, No. 2302, and vi. p. 450, No. 14294, etc. Two other (more or less defective) copies of this rare work (Elliott 362 and Walker 30) are described in Bodleian Cat., Nos. 138 and 139. The Persian translator&rsquo;s name is not mentioned anywhere. The work is divided, like the Arabic original, into eight b&acirc;bs, comp. Wiener Jahrb&uuml;cher 1835, vol. 70, Anzeigeblatt, p. 88.
