Silver Comet - Training 02 - Stolt3D

Crew Training 02 of the Stolt3D expedition - our second model, this time of the Silver Comet training wreck at Dutch Springs! * Photographers: Mike & Larry * Safety: Chuck & Bill * Instructor: Christopher * Support: Olga & Meredith This model focuses on alignment target integration, mesh-hole-filling, depth filtering (to eliminate specular noise from particulates), and fine-tuning our swim patterns & team dynamics. (The *next* model posted here will use chunking/alignment-merges to integrate data from multiple divers & different cameras for a single site, and will also have the stern deck geometry fixed.) Source: * ~530 images (Mike) * ~300 images (Larry) Mezzanine: * 25MM polygon * 16k tex Hardware used to process this model: * 24x Xeon, 2.67 GHz * 192 GB DDR3 ECC RAM (68 GB used) * 2TB block storage (38 GB used) * RTX 3070 GPU * RTX 2070 Super GPU For more updates, toolchain, and (soon) Stolt Dagali results, check out our project at **[scuba.tech/stolt3d](https://www.scuba.tech/stolt3d)**!
