Black-burnished ware pot - reconstruction

This is a reconstruction of a black-burnished ware pot with annotations describing how it would be made. It is based on a type of Romano-British pottery found in the Dorset region and made during the 2nd to 4th century CE. For more information on this type of pottery click this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-burnished_ware For more information on burnishing pottery click this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burnishing_(pottery) I made this model after watching the Patreon only Time Team video - S21, Broughton Post-Ex Pottery Analysis which contained an excellent analysis of the different types of Romano-British pottery.
