A [polychrome](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300252261) [figure sculpture](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300047600 ) of the Madonna and Child in limestone. The Virgin is crowned, with a pendant veil and wearing a long draped gown. Mary carries the Infant Jesus on her hip and is gently holding his foot. The top half of the child is missing.
