<h1>Cut-off rigidities for 2000-2025</h1> <p>The <em>Open-source geomagneToSphere prOpagation tool</em> <a href="https://github.com/NLarsen15/OTSO" target="_blank" rel="noopener">OTSO</a> has been used to calculate cut-off rigidities for the epochs 2000, 2005, ..., 2025 for the entire Earth in 1° x 1° resolution. The parameters for the computation (<code>Tools/planet_params.py</code>) have not been changed from the default values, except for the date of the computation (January 1st, 00:00:00 for the years 2000, 2005, ..., 2025).<br> <br>The output is stored in the folder `Planet/<YEAR>` for each year. Each folder contains the parameters of the computation in `OTSO_PLANET_RUN_INFO.txt` and the results in `Planet.csv`. The CSV files contain for each latitude and longitude the upper (Ru), effective (Rc), and the lower cutoff rigidity (Rl).</p> <p>The results can be read and plotted with the example script <code><a href="https://github.com/NLarsen15/OTSO/blob/main/OTSO/Plotting%20Tools/PlanetPlot.py" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PlanetPlot.py</a></code> as provided by OTSO.</p>
