Effect of nanoclay on spread of common staining fungal spores (Aspergillus niger and Penicillium spp.) on the surface of medium density fibreboards

<p>Studies on the effect of nanoclay, impregnated into MDFs, on the mycological activity were conducted. The study attempted to optimise the nanoclay loading and processing parameters to ensure effective retardation of mycological attack from staining fungi <em>Penicillium spp.</em> and&nbsp;<em>Aspergillus niger</em>.</p>
