<p><strong>Matrices for an artificial fishtail based on&nbsp;<a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2405896318300594">Modeling and Motion Planing for an Artificial Fishtail</a>.</strong></p> <p>The fish_tail.mat file contains the second order system matrices</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; M*x&#39;&#39; + E*x&#39; + K*x = Bu*u,<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;y = C*x,</p> <p>of an artificial fishtail, where the matrix C = Cp contains only the end point and C = Cp_ext contains&nbsp;7 points on the surface of the mesh including the end point.&nbsp;The matrices M, E and K are symmetric positive-definite.</p> <p>The same matrices are provided in compressed files using the&nbsp;Matrix Market Exchange Format.</p> <p>The matrices are derived by the Finite Element Method for linear elasticity applying&nbsp;the open source tool <a href="https://firedrakeproject.org">Firedrake</a>&nbsp;on a&nbsp;tetrahedron Mesh generate by <a href="https://www.csimsoft.com/trelis.jsp">Trelis</a>. Due to numerical effect the resulting&nbsp;matrices are asymmetrical and have been post-processed, such that the here provided matrices are symmetric.</p>
