Distal Femoral Landmarks from Skeletons with Total Knee Arthroplasty

This dataset contains raw 3D landmark coordinates for the articular surface of the distal femur. The sample consists of 43 modern adult human skeletons from the University of Tennessee Donated Skeletal Collection. 12 of the skeletons received unilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA) during life due to osteoarthritis; landmarks for these individuals were taken on the non-replaced (healthy) antimere. The remaining 31 individuals serve as controls, having received no knee replacement during life and showing no signs of joint degenerative disease.
