AquaVitae WP8 Good practice survey data and report

<p>AquaVitae (aquavitaeproject.eu) was a four-year (2019&ndash;2023) EU Horizon 2020 project that focused on increasing the production of value chains around the Atlantic basin involving LTA. &nbsp;WP8 concerned Aquaculture Policy and Governance. As part of this work-package we carried out a survey in 2022 of &lsquo;good practice for rules, regulations and practices that can improve the conditions for developing low-trophic level aquaculture and promote economic, social, environmental and institutional sustainability'. The survey involved a preliminary web-based questionnaire, followed by interviews with some of those who responded to the questionnaire.&nbsp;</p> <p>Details of methods and findings are given in the AquaVitae deliverable D8.5, 'Report on good practice for policy development for low-trophic level aquaculture'. The deposited data are contained in two spreadsheets. These contain anonymised and thematically coded extracts from the interviews, organised by country (Brazil, Denmark, Faroes, France, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, USA). One spreadsheet reports interviews carried out in English, the other reports interviews carried out in Portuguese and then translated into English.&nbsp;</p>
