Plaintext corpus of Pyu inscriptions

This is a text file of readings of all known Pyu-language inscriptions. The readings were originally by Arlo Griffiths, Julian Wheatley, and Marc Miyake, and have been subsequently modified by Marc Miyake.

NB: This file does not contain any readings of non-Pyu language inscriptions found at Pyu archeological sites. Nor does it contain readings of non-Pyu language portions of multilingual inscriptions containing Pyu. It is intended for simple text searches of the legible subset of the Pyu corpus.

The file has three columns:

1. Inscription number (in the numbering of Griffiths et al. [2017] with leading zeroes: https://zenodo.org/record/1478504 )

2. Line number (hyphens indicate that an inscription has only one line)

3. Transcription (in the system of Griffiths et al. [2017]: https://zenodo.org/record/1478504 )

The reading of inscription 39 has been substantially expanded and revised since 2017. There also have been various small changes in the readings of other inscriptions since 2017. The readings in this file supersede readings in any earlier Zenodo uploads

A changelog, to do list, and list of unread inscriptions is at the bottom.
