TORS for a T2 posterior pharyngeal wall cancer

The video shows the procedure of using Trans-Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) via da-Vinci robot Xi-system to resect a T2 posterior pharyngeal wall cancer extending from hypopharynx to oropharynx on Nov. 20, 2020. Under general anesthesia with oro-endotracheal intubation, posterior pharyngeal wall was exposed by Laryngeal Advanced Retractor System (LARS). With a panoramic view, the tumor could be en-bloc resected by using endo-wristed instruments (Maryland dissector at the left hand side and Mono-polar cautery at the right hand side).
