The map shows the climatically suitable range for the scuttle fly under the minimum training presence threshold which included all known training occurrence points and under 10 percentile training presence threshold in which 10% of the occurrence points used in training models was omitted. Distribution for M. eupeus mongolicus was generated from Shi, Liang, et al. (2015). The crossed circle indicates the place where parasitised scorpions were collected.
