Figures 3–4. Dynastinae habitats on Saba. 3) The middle slopes of Great Hill near The Bottom, Saba, with typical vegetation of the island's mesophilic zone. The dynastine Phileurus valgus antillarum was bred from larvae collected at this locality. 4) Spring Bay, Saba, showing the dry grassland and steep slopes that are typical of the xerophilic zone of the island at its southern and western edges.
