Figure 1. Number of nests of the Lined Seedeater Sporophila lineola found during the first (2014/ 2015, above) and second (2015/2016, below) breeding seasons studied in the Campus Florestal da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Each month was subdivided into three 10-day periods (I, II and III). Each nest was counted only once in each stage: nest with eggs (laying of the first egg) and nests with nestlings (hatching of the first egg).
