The name to which the adjective applies is linked to the name considered valid by the authority, indicated by a green box. Thus, the name listed third is a new combination, and the relation should be read: Carlgren (1949) placed the species described by Carlgren (1900) as Actinoides africana in the genus Anthopleura.
