Distant displays predominantly refer to raised body, flexed/bent abdomen and leg postures (hunched and arched-out). Approach includes both with and without concurrent displays. Close proximity displays for males are similar to above defined displays but also include zigzag dance and propulsive displays (long leap, strike) that did not result in contact unlike in Contact.
