Abbreviations: lcr, longitudinal crest (either ridge or keel running mesiodistally over the crown linking the central cusp and tooth shoulders); lcu, lateral cusplets (here tiny secondary 'cusps' flanking the main cusp); cre, crenulations (vertical ridges on the surface of the crown); lap/lip, labial/ lingual peg (a bulbous projection on the base of either the labial or lingual side of the cusp of the crown).
