Only the first two of the five possible canonical variate axes are shown. This analysis was based on seven extended eigenshape variables which together accounted for 93.7% of the observed outline shape variation. Cross-tabulation analyses of these results (Table 2) indicated that over 90% of the sample can be assigned to the correct genus.
