Images were produced in ArcGIS 9.2, and palaeomap reconstructions are from Scotese (2001) (note that the palaeomaps consist of the reconstructed positions of present-day continental coastlines). Modern day co-ordinates for titanosauriform taxa were converted to palaeolatitudes and palaeolongitudes (for the relevant time slices) using PointTracker (Scotese 2004).
