FIGURE 5 in A new species of climbing Chamaedorea (Arecaceae) from Chiapas, Mexico

FIGURE 5. Cladogram showing the phylogenetic relationships among Chamaedorea species. The cladogram includes species for which the DNA sequences of the two loci, PRK and RPB2, were available. The focus species, C. elatior and C. tacanensis, form separate monophyletic groups, suggesting species delimitation. Together with several closely related species, C. elatior and C. tacanensis constitute the Elatior clade. C. elatior accessions with labels including "LB" indicate provenance from El Ocote, Chiapas, Mexico; "LP" indicate provenance from San Francisco La Paz, Santa María Chimalapa, Oaxaca, Mexico. Support above branches denote posterior probabilities. Two outgroup (OG) species were used to identify the polarity of the topology within Chamaedorea.
