<p>Script and input data files (consumption and production data)&nbsp;for the publication &quot;Potentials and perspectives of food self-sufficiency in urban areas &ndash; a case study from Leipzig&quot;.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;script provides a tool for 1) the calculation of the self-sufficiency level (ssl), regional and non-regional agricultural&nbsp;area demand for the region of interest and 2) the calculation of share of area demand and total consumption of single commodities and food groups. Input data files include&nbsp;production yields and consumption quantities for single commodities.</p>
