(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 1854 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>824</p> <p>M&icirc;k&acirc; u Man&ucirc;har (ميكا و منوهر).</p> <p>The love-story of M&icirc;k&acirc; (or Mink&acirc;) and the R&acirc;ja Man&ucirc;har, a Persian romance, stated here to have been composed by M&acirc;dhod&acirc;s of Gujar&acirc;t in A.H. 1098 (A.D. 1687), see the chronogram on fol. 5<sup>b</sup>, l. 7: گلبن طبع عزيزان نوبهارى يافته.</p> <p>Beginning: سخن است كه آدمى زاد را از حضيض حيوانى بانسانى رسانيده الخ.</p> <p>Another copy of the same story in the Bodleian Cat., No. 478; comp. on some nearly related romances in prose and verse, No. 803 in this Cat.</p> <p>Dated the 1st of Jum&acirc;d&acirc;-alth&acirc;n&icirc; in the fiftieth year of &lsquo;&Acirc;lamg&icirc;r&rsquo;s reign (=A.H. 1118, A.D. 1706, Sept. 10).</p> <p>No. 1854, ff. 178, ll. 15; irregularly written in bad Shikasta; size, 9<sup>1/4</sup> in. by 5 in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
