(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a> <strong>number 1770 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>839</p> <p>Bûstân-i-Khayâl.</p> <p>The <em>first daftar</em> or <em>jild</em> of the <em>third Bahâr</em> or <em>second Gulistân</em> of the Bûstân-i-Khayâl, corresponding to the <em>eighth volume </em>of the whole work. This <em>third Bahâr</em> (the largest of the three), which relates the adventures of Ṣâḥib Ḳirân-i-Akbar Shâhzâda Mu’izz-aldîn, Ṣâḥib Ḳirân-i-A’żam Shâhzâda Khurshîd Tâjbaksh, and Ṣâḥib Ḳirân-i-Aṣghar Shâhzâda Badr-i-munîr, bears the special title of <em>Khurshîdnâma</em> (خورشيدنامه), and is subdivided into seven books (دفتر or جلد) or eight volumes, the last two of which (the fourteenth and fifteenth, together with the Khâtimah) are missing in this collection. This first daftar begins: اداى حمد و سپاس ربّ العالمين حكيم عليم و نعت درود سيّد المرسلين رسول كريم و مدح و منقبت الخ.</p> <p>In l.6 this heading appears: آغاز گلستان دوم بهار سيوم از كتاب بوستان كه موسوم است بخورشيدنامه، امّا راويان اخبار و ناقلان آثار و محدّثان اين حديث شيرين بيان و مخبر ( مخبران Bodl.copy correctly ) اين داستان رنگین الخ.</p> <p>Conclusion:</p> <p>ان شاء الله تعالى بعد ازين احوال صاحبقران اعظم و صاحبقران اصغر در دفتر دويم مذكور كرده ( كرد read) خواهد شد الخ.</p> <p>Dated the 7th of Muḥarram, A.H. 1202 (A.D. 1787, Oct. 19).</p> <p>No. 1770, ff. 388, ll. 19; clear and distinct Nasta’lîḳ; size, 12<sup>1/2</sup> in. by 8<sup>1/4</sup> in.</p> <p> </p>
