Copied for Mr. <a href="https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4085990">Richard Johnson</a>, by Muḥammad Rafi&rsquo;.</p> <p>No. 910, ff. 23, ll. 13; Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; size, 8&frac34; in. by 6 in.</p> <ul> <li>[<strong>ed note</strong>: Hazrat Tamim bin Ya&lsquo;ar Ansari (حضرت تَمیم بن یَعَار انصاریؓ) belonged to the branch of Banu Jadara bin &lsquo;Auf bin Al-Harith of the Ansar tribe of the Khazraj. He participated alongside the Prophet in the battles of Badr and Uhud. A son by the name of Rib&lsquo;i and a daughter by the name of Jamila were among his children. His mother belonged to the tribe of Banu Amr. Ibn Sa&#39;d, Muhammad ibn Mani&#39; al-Hashimi al-Basri, <em>Al</em>-<em>Ṭabaqāt al</em>-<em>Kubra</em>, 1st edition, ed. In India, aspects of the story of Tamim Ansari appear to have been conflated with Hazrat Tamim ibn Zayd Ansari (تميم بن زيد الأنصاري&lrm;&lrm;) whose tomb is found at Kovalam, Tamil Nadu.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
